I have always loved Cigars. I guess it is just my preference. But I love sitting around witha bunch of friends that I have known since I was a kid, Smoking a nice cigar shooting the shit all night long with a great glass of either whiskey or port. Or sitting back on my belcony on a nice summer eveing and reading a book. That and fishing, That is one of the best times to smoke a Cigar is when Your out on the river. Thats just me.

I too rememberr this cartoon. It was intended to be part of the Family Hamhock toons, but was changed to Porky Pig when the decision no to continue the Hamhocks was made. Mrs. Hamhock herself appeared as Porky's mother.

This is the second morality tale put out by WB. Unfortunatly, this toon was put out in an era when racism was an acceptable norm -- and a couple of the jokes in the film clearly fall into that category. For this reason, it has never been offered on video or DVD.

When I saw it posted here, I was thrilled -- at first.

Why isn't the video available now?

Now this is a REAL cartoon. When my kids were growing up I always loved to watch cartoons with them! :-) I still sneak a peek once in awhile now.

Very Funny. I remember watchine this one. Its nice you have some cool cigar videos. Seems like cigars are not mainstream like they once were in the media (cartoons). Oh well.

You should post some European Cigar ads. It would be nice to see what they are like, if they are like our beer commercials!
